Sites of Horror

Well, even after two years of posting Sites of Horror, online hotposts which we feel our fellow Horrorheads might enjoy as much as we do, we still have no problem finding awesome sites to tell you guys about.

For instance, this month's first Site of Horror is Carfax Abbey. The name of the site alone should cull up memories of Universal classic horror, if you're a true Horrorhead. This site is packed full of articles, reviews and great old pics of some of the classics of the genre, which will keep you coming back month after month.

And our next site is something every Horrorhead who was lucky enough to have lived through the great horror exploitation era of the late 60s and 70s should recognize. 42nd Street Cinema remembers why that was such a great time for horror and other exploitation films. It is a graphic site, devoted to reviews and articles about those classic movies which helped build a genre. If you think you know everything about exploitation films, you've got to check out this site. Astounding! I spent hours reading reviews and watching old video clips of movies which I grew up on during my younger days, when drive-ins ruled in NE Florida.

And our last site for this month is one that speaks to the Horrorhead on a budget: Dollar Bin Horror. If you're looking for pointers on what's worth the money in old and new genre films, check this place out for on-the-spot reviews. You'll love the reviews, but you'll also find this place is filled to the brim with other great links and things to do for the Horrorhead with time on their hands, including podcasts, videos, and other stuff.

(If you have a site you'd like The Black Glove to feature in our Sites of Horror, email Nickolasecook@aol.com with your link and contact info.)
